I am kinda fond of the new Viper. Since I can't afford a ZR1 nor new Viper, my C5Z06 will remain. Still having competition from another company is good. "Need is the mother of invention"

SRT Motorsports partnered with Riley Technologies, based in Mooresville, N.C., on the design-and-build process of the new SRT Viper GTS-R. SRT Viper Racing has three drivers signed: Kuno Wittmer, Dominik Farnbacher and Marc Goossens. Farnbacher, a four-time winner in the Series, and Goossens are familiar faces to ALMS fans. SRT Viper Racing’s debut also will mark Wittmer’s first ALMS race.

I always thought and still think the GTS Viper of the early 2000's to be one of the best looking sports cars around. I drove next to one the other day and while I know I can eat him for breakfast, his car was beautiful and definately way more eye catching than my Z even though his car is many years older.

Much improved over the 2nd Gen Viper. Look they brought the clam-shell hood back. Paying attention Chevy? I'd buy a 3rd Gen Viper over a ZR1, if I had the cash.
