Thoughts about radiator reposition-intelligent thoughts invited
I have a 94 C4 and the engine compartment has always been so tight. I was thinking about removing the rad upper shroud, tilting the rad top forward to about 45 degrees, reworking the shroud, and then figuring a way for the hot air to get out, possibly through vents in the hood. That would provide a lot of room for engine work, and if vented through the hood, would provide excellent cooling and lots of down force. What are your thoughts?

Melting Slicks
maybe someone in the C4 tech section would be more help??? sounds like considerable fabrication to me....

Not too bad; just some sheet metal and a few other things. I am worried about going through the hood though. I have seen a few nice through-the-hood setups, just not in C4s.

Burning Brakes
The only commercially made vented hood I have seen for a C4 is from Performance AFX.com. Contact Robert Finlayson, "vectorvette" on this forum. All others have been homemade variations.
