Default Front rim slightly bent...issue for HPDE?

I've got 18x8.5 repros of the 09 z spyder wheels up front. One has a slight bend where I must have hit something last summer. I can feel the vibration when I drive but it's not enough to really bother me. I'm pretty sure it was there before I did my first HPDE last year. Is it something I need to go get addressed before my next track days or is it a negligible issue?

At a bare minimum, get the wheel rebalanced.

Personally I wouldn't feel comfortable with a bent rim on the track. Hit something wrong loose the seal between tire and wheel and you could be in a bad spot. If it happens when you are near other cars the situation just got a lot worse.

I think it's enough of an issue for you to have it fixed. Last year, 3 days before an event, I found when having a tire mounted that 1 rim was bent enough that he couldn't get a good balance. I managed to have this rim fixed on a weekend locally.

Get it replaced or fixed, before the next event you go to.

Good luck.

If you feel it, then it needs repair. Get it straightened or replace.

It depends on how and where it is bent? If if can be balanced and there is no vibration and the tire holds air and the bead seals properly??? Then it may be OK? Have it checked by a good wheel shop and they should be able to tell you. Impossible to say without seeing the wheel. I have a bent CCW that I had checked by them and it works fine. JD

One of my fronts turned up bent right before a track day. They were able to balance it by spending some time moving the tire around. But after the first track day it was vibrating again because the tire moved under hard braking. Its been fixed now

I know that all repro wheels aren't of the same quality but I have seen two C6 repros break completely off the car at DEs. I have never seen the same from an OE wheel. I don't recall if the car had street tires or not. I know there are a ton of other factors that could have led up to the failure.
What's my point?
IMHO a repro wheel is risky at a DE, a bent one is a definite NO.

I will go see about getting it fixed. But, I may be making more of it than I need to be. The shop was able to balance it well but you can see the bend at the inner lip of the rim so it peaked my interest. Sounds like I would probably be fine to leave it alone but I don't want 'probably' at a DE. I'll get it fixed!

THANKS!
