Default hub / bearing beginning to hum...ok to HPDE for a weekend?

hi all - just noticed slight hum from drivers side rear.
just ordered two SKF race hubs but won't be here in time for the weekends events. HPDE on friday and TT on sat and sun.
HPDE on R6, TT on A6.

OK to go all out?

car is 2002 Z06 with 70k miles. wasn't tracked at all until 1k miles ago. since then, about 2-3 days on track with hoosier R6's.

Is it still tight? Is there still time to cancel the event and get your $$$ back? How can you tell it's the wheel bearing "humming" and not the tire?

At a bear minimum, I would check it for tightness after each session.
Error on the safe side!

I would buy a couple of hubs locally & bring just in case. Spares. If you don't use them you can return them. If the ones on the car fail, you are out the weekend & no refund.

Why risk it? If you lose a wheel, you may lose a lot more than an entry fee.

You sure the 'hum' is coming from where you think? Have you rocked the wheel from 12 and 6?

I just repl my driver side hub with SKF last week before Rd Atl this weekend. I didn't think the passenger side was bad, but I seemed to be having some kink of brake issue. The brakes seemed to have like 2 levels of bite. They would initially grab but not great and then pedal would go down some and then grab better. I did the 12 to 6 rock on my passenger side, and it had some play, maybe like 1/8th of an inch, but driver side had zero with new hub. Repl passenger side pronto. Calipers are newly rebuilt with DRM ss pistons, so it is not them.So yeah, you might could get by, but it could affect your braking also. I did not have full confidence in mine all weekend. Good luck with it.
