Mid 2:30's in a C5 Z06 daily driver with T1 bars, Carbotech pads and scrubs.
My friends call me Chicken Lifter as I don't usually get thru the kink much above 95 MPH or so. (Too much brake)
I believe the T1 Corvettes turn laps in the low 2:20's

As I recall I have a best time of 2:26 something in a T1 car wit a crate motor, A6 tires and no aero per T1 rules.
Tom Sloe has the fastest T1 time there in a C5 with a 2:22.1 as I recall.

Running a C6Z06 bone stock under 2:30 is very good. With a BBK and tires 2:25 is great. Forum member Autobahnracer put down mid 2:20s with his C5 Z06 race car that consisted of coilovers, aero, slicks and weight of approx 2900lbs and stock motor.
The World Challenge cars run low teens, Trans AM cars run between 2:04-2:12 and ALMS GT1 Corvettes run close to 2:00 flat.
Road America is simply a 'how big are your kahunas' track where lap times only come down based on how much you want to risk the car through high speed turns.
Better to go through a turn too slow and wish you went faster, than go through a turn too fast and wish you went slower.
There's only a handful of National racers that turn low 2:20s with a T1 car and that was hard to do before better brakes were allowed. (Just ask Mike Tracy jr.)

I'm beginning to change my 'need for speed' after a track day at RA last year, doing 165 up the front straight, and my accu-sump tank exploded at the braking zone into turn 1.
I'm still here to tell that story, and my car survived other than a blown motor. I wasn't 'racing', and not at full tilt, with no cars directly behind me. RA is a fun track, but respect and knowing your outs is important.

Don't know the lap time. With all the grip/aero this car has he still waited for his turn to go thru the kink.

And as an observer of your little event last year, that was pretty sobering. We certainly are glad it was no worse than it was - the potential for bad things is huge.
And to think for the event this year I reduced drag by a lot on my car and was planning on taking out some wing, for more speed...
