19" Hoosier R6; anyone running these?
I know not ideal for the real track stars out there but interested in these for stock C6 wheels and playing around. Interested in hearing from those that may have used them at one point or still do for track use and/or straight line grip while accelerating very hard out of a corner.

345/30/19 and 325/30/19
Why are they not ideal for the track?? If anything they are for the track!

I have a search saved on ebay and they email me whenever a 19" R6 comes up for sale. I've bought the last 3 sets this way. The best setup if you are buying wheels is 18" on the front and back so you can easily get used tires.
My garage looks like an episode of Hoarders with tires everywhere but I never run out! Sometimes I rush home to pull the tires off the porch thinking my wife won't notice more on the wall rack.

I run these on my 07z06... They work great. 325 or 345 no issues.
Saves buying another set of wheels and stock wheels are much cheaper and fairly light. more hard core guys will run 18"s all around 18x11 front and 18x13 rear

I've been considering buying another set of wheels and R6's for the track.
Looking for opinions on running 18 square setup or 18 on the front and 19 on the back.
What sizes for the front and rear works best?
Thanks in advance.

On a base C6 with 18x10" wheels up front and 18x11" wheels in the back you can run 295 wide and 335 wide in the rear. The 335 in the rear may touch the inside of the wheel well ever so slightly but it works great. I've run as small as 295 in the rear and as long as I have narrower in the front then it feels good.
The biggest advantage to purchasing a set of wheels that are 18" front and back is that you can run used R6 tires of a variety of sizes. If you are only going to a few track events a year and plan on buying new tires then you can use the stock 18 front and 19" rear configuration. I've probably just now after 2 years saved enough on buying used 18" tires to justify the $3500 I spent on 18" front and rear rims.

(Hoosier just adds a 1 inch extension to the 325 mold)
The 295/30/18 are almost the same size as the 275/35/18's...
25.5 vs 25.3
therefore you have no problems with rubbing or ABS, traction control etc....

look for youself or call Hoosier
btw the 295's front and 345's in the rear are the widest your going to get on stock rims........

Believe it or not the 345's are the same diameter as the 325's.

Take the offer from above posters on stock wheels.... Only $600. If you get more serious then go 18x11front and 18x13 rear..... More performance and more $$$$$
