1/2" wheel spacers on a 2006 c6 trackcar.
has anyone tracked successfully with good quality 1/2" wheel spacers like pfadt???
i know wheel spacers may or may not be harder on the wheel bearings and wheel studs

there isn't a problem if you have good studs, although getting wheels that fit correctly is a better solution. 1/8" is all the spacer you car run without longer studs.

If you're running a 1/2 spacer you're going to need to run 2.5" wheel studs. We have ARP Studs available, but they may require you to move to open lug nuts as well.

I have a video on replacing rear studs with arp if you guys need to go there. I have run many billet spacers up to 3/4 " no issues. Recheck tq cold between sessions. Replace nuts at least annual.

As a rule of thumb, what do spacers do to spring rates? Overall rates, the spring , the tire, everything that goes into overall rates.
I am guessing that moving the wheel out lowers the rate?
Not looking for # lbs, just what direction does is go higher or lower?

Move the wheel out further and you have a longer arm therefore the effective rate will be lower.....more leverage.

studs are ARP
The guys who sell wheel spacers for $100 a pair won''t like that link much, but I don't like overpricing much.
