Gingerman Open Track Weekend June 30-July 1
All,
3 ***** Racing is hosting an open track weekend at Gingerman Raceway on Saturday and Sunday, June 30-July 1. We will run clockwise on Saturday and counter clockwise on Sunday.
Cost of the event is $180/day or $300 for the weekend. That cost includes a catered lunch and drinks throughout the day.
We will use four run groups and 25 minute sessions. Our most experienced group uses open passing. Instructors will be available for all.
Let me know if you have questions. Otherwise, head to 3ballsracing.com to sign up.
Thanks
Ken

We're two weeks away and still have plenty of spots available. Based on the numbers, we will either be running 2 or 3 groups. Needless to say, there will be a lot of track time. This would be great for anyone looking to do some testing.
Let me know if you have questions.
Thanks

Please............. for us newbies....What, when, where, why?
So far it seems this forum is for the pros. I really want to autocross and more, but everyone seems to know the tracks, events and each other, for that matter. I am on this form to learn, not to guess what everybody is talking about.
How about it???? Thanks......Tom Woodgeard - Sarasota, FL

When: This weekend
Where: GingerMan Raceway in South Haven, Michigan
Why: To get away for the weekend and drive your car on the track. In the evening there's camping, a few beers, and a whole lot of BS flowing around the campfire.
To answer your other question, we know each other because we've been doing this together for a few years. Most of us started out just where you are, not knowing much but just showing up and introducing yourself. As far as all of the HPDE and racing groups out there, there are levels of professionalism. Our group is on the lower end. SCCA, NASA, PCA, BMWCCA, and the like are certainly more organized and more strict. 3BallsRacing just a bunch of guys who get together to rent the track and invite a bunch of people, old friends and new, to join in.
