finally got the damn thing to the track!
Finally got to shake the new build down a bit on Monday. Spent most of the the day at RaceCo doing set up, then decided to put the quick release wheel on ( a Rothsport which is awesome, the thing slaps on no play what so ever ) didn't get to the on the track till 2:30, previous fastest lap on Millers west track with the stock LS6 was 1:37.xx had not had the Z on the track for a year. First full lap looked down to see a 1:36.xx next lap was a 1:35.xx ended up doing a 1:33.80 brakes went soft and stopped to bleed. Power steering started to go almost felt like it had column lock, had to get off the brakes to turn in for T6 a tight right hander, next session dropped into the 1:32.xx The fastest time I could find this year in a NASA race on the west was 1:31.xx by Madison Snow in a well driven 2012 Porsche cup running in STO. The funny thing is this is still a street legal full weight car 3335lbs with me in it. These cars are awesome going to do a lap battle at the end of the month then its getting caged and we're going to have some fun with some 997 Cups.

As for still being a streetable C5, any problems with that splitter on the street?
Not sure if I'm seeing a 2" or 4" splitter in your shot. Very curious if anyone has been able to get away with a 4" splitter on a mixed street/track car.

It is about 4" It's attached to a ACP overlay. You do have to be careful. I was going to build a street going front end also, the whole thing comes off with a few 1/4 turn clips and rear under tray support bolts.
