Default Nitto NT01 Tire Psi question

Hi guys,
I'm getting ready for an autocross this weekend and I just put NT01 all the way around, 275's up front and 315 in back. Do you guys have any experience with tire psi to run? I had been running about 5psi more up front to put more weight in the back for weight distribution when we put it on the scales. Any info is appreciated.

NTO1's are essentially Toyo RA1's. I Start them at about 27F 29R and take tire pressures each time I come in off the track. The optimum hot pressures should be around 36 to 38psi depending of course on your setup. Unlike R888's that can operate quite effectively around 42psi hot, the Toyo RA1 and NTO1 are IMO a much better tire.
If the tires heat up over your hot threshold, drop the pressures until they operate hot in the range. This takes a little more air out of them and thus moisture which is the major cause of the heating. My car is a C4 race car that weighs 2880lbs.

I agree with "Canam",

NT01 is a very good tire for autocross, good wear, good traction. "GREAT" on concrete surfaces.

I've run em' around 38-40 psi hot in front and 36-38 psi hot in rear. They seem to like hotter conditions.

Mine is a C4 stock weight, 275 square set-up, stiff springs/shocks/sway bars.
