Interested... pics of set up? What'd better/different about the 2?

I'm not sure of all of the differences but it has better lens, can stream video and pictures from camera to phone or tablet. Several different levels of quality videos, remote mic and some other things. The WiFi remote will work with both cameras but does more with the Hero2. Are you going to be at VIR/NCM? Will try to shoot some pictures tomorrow. JD

What battery does it use? I have an old one (not HD) and have to use Lithiums. Would rather have a few rechargable LiPos that would get me through 4 hrs of vid.

The camera uses Li-Ion batteries. I have run 4-25 minute sessions at Sebring on 720 res. with no problems from the battery.
