Vir Chump car seat available 24 hour race
there is at least one, and maybe two seats available on the chump car team I race with for the 24 hour race at VIR on August 11,12. The car is a well sorted Nissan 240 sx that has won 3 races, took 2nd in 2, and recently finished 5th after leading the Daytona 14 hour race for about 4 hours. The transmission dropped 3rd and 4th gears with 3.5 hours to go in the race, and we still finsihed 5th. We have found a replacement transmission to go in the car, so it should be very competitive. It handles very neutral and has great brakes. Please let me know if you are interested. Cost for the seat is $1,000. That's what each driver is putting in to cover all fuel, at least 2 sets of tires, brakes, prep, transport, etc. You would be responsible for your own food and lodging. Thanks. Jerry

Have 4 drivers lined up. We can do it with that, but 6 is better. That way each driver gets 2 2hour stints behind the wheel. 4 hours of wheel to wheel racing against some really good drivers. Rumor has it that some of the best and brightest from NASCAR and Grand AM/Rolex are showing up and driving in these races. Where are you going to get that kind of opportunity? Still have 2 openings. This car is rear wheel drive so transitioning from corvette to this is very easy. Jerry

That's a really good deal. I ran Chumps for a few years. You can't believe what it costs to do one of these cars. The biggest problem in the series right now it cost control.Running in the top top five isn't cheap.
