Default What Cat Back Meets Sound??

I've got a forged engine in my C5Z running LTs, catless, X pipe, and Borla Stingers. The Stingers are too loud for an ever increasing amount of tracks. I registered 104db and 105 db at Thunderhill last weekend and had to put my cheater pipes on.

What cat backs are you guys running that meet the 103 db sound limits at most tracks? I'm not worried about meeting Laguna's 92 db, I'll buy a Prius if it comes to that. And, I'm not worried about being quiet, just something that will sneak in under the 103 limit.

Any ideas, suggestions, help will be appreciated.

Z06 Titanium is probably the best you're going to get.

I was also at 104db last time at thunderhill with my b&b prt. I'm going to put my catted x on or add some resonators to my offroad pipe.

Really? I don't think I even remember hearing my exhaust at 110-140 mph! Perhaps you've been doing track events long enough that there is no pucker factor left?

Let's see, what do I remember hearing? Tires squealing and my instructor saying TRACK OUT TRACK OUT!!!

I may have been that instructor! Yes, I've been at it awhile, but every now and then the pucker factor is still very much with me.

Thanks for the info. Maybe that's how I should approach this by at least finding out what doesn't work.
