Who's going?
What do you think will be the best spectating spot for the Grand West Course?
Any chance for a meet-up?
It might be cool to have a CF Meet-up/Barbeque/DRINKEX.

I'm planning on being there. Usually end up checking out turns 3 thru 6, but spend most of the time around 16, so we can watch the "roller coaster" and "hog pen", plus there are a few trees over there.

On the hillside just past the bridge looking through the uphill esses is good also.
The bleachers near Oak Tree.
Plenty of time to walk around and check different locations.

I'll be there Saturday
I ordered my Corral tickets yesterday. See you guys there.
Anybody know where the Corvette Corral will be set up? Can't seem to find out any details about the Corral. Any and all info will be appreciated.

+1 I'll be there also. I always enjoy the action around turns 3, 4, 5 and 6. Although, it's the somewhat slower section; there's always quite a bit of action. The trees in that area are good for blocking the sun if you have the wife and kids along.

Burning Brakes
The weekend before ALMS at VIR I have two track days at Road Atlanta.
Question is, should I wash my car or just drive it to the VIR Corvette Corral with all the track rubber, brake dust, and bugs all over it?

Only two weeks to go. Looking forward to it.
Anybody got the Scanner frequencies for the Corvette Racing Teams or know where to find them? I want to bring my scanner, but need frequencies.

I usually record the race and then watch it again to see what I couldn't from my vantage point. It's never as much fun for me to watch it on TV as it is at the track.

I'm not sure where the corral will be, but looking at the event schedule on Saturday 12:20 to 12:45 there's going to be corvette car corral parade laps facilitated by IMSA. 100 car limit. I'm guessing the car corrals will be between turn 6 to the bridge and service road.
