Was a great movie with real footage which surprised me. I still remember sitting in bed watching and hearing he was dead. I missed the first 25 minutes because of the DVR didn't record. I don't see it on again next week. I'll buy the video if I can find it in USA version.

I've been told that it is also on Netflix, but I don't subscribe.
I was fortunate to see the film (twice) when it was shown in the Detroit area last August. There had been a lot of buzz about this movie since late 2010; it won some prestigious awards and shown at a few highly regarded festivals (like the Sundance Film Festival). The backstory on how the producers got permission from Bernie Ecclestone and the Senna family to gain access to the archives and the entire process by which they made the film is really interesting.
I, too, recall that fateful weekend in Imola. The news report of Barrichello's accident was the last thing I saw on TV before departing Tokyo to fly home; I turned off the TV on Sunday literally as Senna's final lap started so that I could get in my '92 and go to a Corvette Club of Michigan autocross, so I heard about his accident while there.

I didnt realize another driver died that same race, during qualifying I think? And Rubens Barrichello had a bad off as well. Some of the driving that Senna did was stunning.

Roland Ratzenberger, driving for the Simtek team. I don't recall if it was captured in the "Senna" film, but reportedly Aryton had the Austrian flag in his car to wave in tribute should he have won. As captured in the film, Ratzenberger's death caused a lot of angst with Senna.

Not in HD, but I recall finding it on ESPNC or something like that.
I'll look tonight at what I set the DVR for
ESNCL (ESPN Classic) Friday 10 PM, Sat 12(midnight), 8PM, and 10PM

An amazing driver and a very sad ending to his story. What interested me the most was the opposition he faced from the chairman of F1 throughout his entire career.
He lapped the entire field except one car in a rain-soaked race! Best ever - agreed

That Frenchie preferred to make it easier for his countryman Prost, it seemed. Real arrogant *****, when it came to listening to the drivers issues regarding safety.
