Default C6 base tire/wheels work on C6 GS?

Traded 08 Z51 for 12 GS, I still have a good set of Bridgestone RE-11's on stock wheels I would like to use for low speed AutoX. I know TPS will need to be changed. Tire sizes (per on line calculators) are with in acceptable tolerance. Anyone have prior history on this subject? Will computors tolerate this change?
Thanks in advance for comments/advice!

Will those stock fronts fit over the bigger front calipers?

I have not tried it yet, they are 18" same as Z51so I expect clearance to be OK.

Wasn't sure of the offset up front and if they would clear.

as far as the tolerances, are you planning on driving to the events with the smallers wheels on? I would think that as long as the tires have that same height ratio front/rear that it SHOULD be ok.

I've never seen anyone do it personally.

1 thing though... where are you running ( meaning what organization ) ?

If you don't care about classing, then it doesn't matter, but just an example, SCCA stock class rules doesn't allow you to change wheel sizes.

I don't think the stock 08 Split Spokes will clear the GS Brakes in the front

Thanks for the info. I am running NCCC events, sometimes trailer the car but I do drive it to some events . I haven't checked NCCC rules yet, might put me in group 2. I will put the fronts on this weekend and check for clearance. I have tried to sell the wheel tire package but haven't found much interest, which is why I am looking for options to use the tires up while they are still new and soft.
The RE 11 has been great for autoX and road course events, decent on highway in the wet as well. I wish they would make them in GS/Z06 sizes! The selection for tires on these models is weak to say the least.

Thanks again for comments and info!
