Default Corbeau seat question

Anyone know how to pop the belt trim off without destroying it? Bought an FX1 Pro. Like new but when I got it home I got a whiff of the Cigarette funk. That’s some tuff stuff to get rid of. Going to pull the covers and foam and wash it real good but not sure how to pop the trim off.

I had a set of Corbeau Forzas that I recovered. The belt trim looked just like that and popped right apart with a little pressure. Should just be two halves that click together, one on each side of the seat.
