I was also curious if you drive your car to events. Any issues with inspections? I may be relocating to the California (LA or San Fran) and was just wondering. I may have to run the car like you are till I get out there and get settled.
Did you take that 3-5 lb weight off the driver's side differential? It is some kind of weight to counter harmonic drivline vibrations. You don't need it just in case you have not looked there. Free 3-5lbs.
Do you race in the rain? Or you still drive it on the street? Either way, yea rainX, or clay bar it with spray detailer.
I drive my car to the events. I might have to put it back on when there's a chance of rain.

I think something like rainX will be fine. I plan on doing the same thing to mine soon.
Thanks. You made me do it.
We shall see. I think I'll try it on my truck to see how good it works.

We don't have inspections. Just smog tests. Probably get a fix it ticket if I get pulled over.

When my friend and I was fixing his leaky axle seal, I discovered that counter weight. I went home and took it off immediately. Thanks for the tip though.

I have a gigantic wing for that.

Ive driven in the rain with no wipers before and with Me keeping the car clean, the wind just blew the beads off. Either way nice to know it comes out fast
