Seat Time at Summit Point Sept 20th
Just thought I would bring up the Seat Time event at Summit Main this coming Thursday the 20th. I have attended two of these events in the past and they were the best track days I have ever attended. There are only two run groups. Race prepared cars and advanced HPDE (solo). The last two times there were only 4 cars in the race prepared run group.
They may stop these if the attendance doesn't pick up so I am spreading the word.

I'll be up at the FATT tomorrow, instead.

Interested. What's the mix of folks that usually show up? Do they get a lot of Corvettes or mostly just imports? Most on Hoosiers or R comps?
I like to run a w/group that has some drivers at about the same lap time as me.
Hope they don't cancel this type of event; would be good if they took other credentials beside FATT qualification though.

There were several BMWs from what I remember. I am going to run the Race Prepared group with my buddy who also has a Spec Miata. This way we can run together. Since the car count is so light, it gives me opportunity to try different lines, breaking points etc at race speed to compare laps.
You could call them to find out about the Street Car group to find out what qualifications they will accept. For the Race group you need a competition license.
