Default Brake cooling

I am still doing my research on brake cooling (front).
I have not heard anyone talking about a electic fan
to cool brakes . Nascar and SCCA has used them. Any
comments??
Another item Hard Brakes a titanium shield to help keep
brake fluid and pad cooler --Comments??
Thanks. Oh I have a C-5 and I have drag raced for 40 plus
years. Going to try another route before I kick the bucket.

Depends on the, the track, the brakes, the pads, and the length your on track with it.

For most 20-30 min HPDE setups, once you have a good set of pads and brakes on the car, you shouldn't have to run any kind of fan on it.

Now take something like the ALMS car that might be on track for 3-24 hrs at a time, they run multiple ducts, and in many cases will run fan(s) on the car.

Ti shields have been used in the past, but many do not like to use them as they can effect pedal feel.

Take something very aggressive like the Euro Semi series and they run water cooling to the brakes!
