Default anyone use the rockland gear tranzilla magnum?

Been talking with them about this trans. Seems to be more needy and race ready than the level 5 RPM trans. Any experiences?

Default Tranzilla

I have a Tranzilla Close ratio in my C5 Z06. It is coupled to an 08 dif that I sent to Rockland to have it reworked and changed to 3:90s.
This is now a dedicated auto cross car.
I am very happy with this set up.

Originally the car was dual purpose, street and track. The square cut gears are very noisy in all gears except 4th, which is staight through. They sound like an old truck transmission from the 30s.

That's awesome. Hard to shift? How's the street manners?

Default Tranzilla

The shifting is good, no problems on the street.
I drove the car back to the National Corvette Museum in 09. It was a pretty noisy drive.
If you do street driving the noise can be very irritating and not acceptable for most people, I'm a little stubborn but most people can't or won't tolerate the noise.
I have since bought a second 03 Z06 for my daily driver.

I will recommend Rockland trannys 100%. I have one in my racecar and love it. I used to use another brand but had too many issues.

Call Rockland and order one. You wont regret it well worth the money spent.
