Default Saw the Gainsco Corvette @ Circuit of the Americas yesterday...

They held the official "ribbon cutting" ceremony today. Closed to the public, but there was a good view from off track. Some of these are from one of the press people there onsite:

Turn 1 is something else, isn't it? I also wonder what he was hitting on the long straight, he was well into 6th gear. Obviously the F1 cars will be off the chart, but the lowly DP was pretty awesome for sure!

I know this obviously is not the corvette, but it shows how sick turn 1 is.

He should have followed Jerome D'Ambrosio around the 4-apex complex...T15-T18.

The F1 guys know the fast line around that turn...they see in in Instanbul in the opposite direction.
