Default Nitto NT-01 C5 Z06

I have a 2004 C5 Z06 that I am using as a track care at sebring.
I have fitted NT-01's on the car 315/30/18 the back and 275/40/17 on the front. I also have a newly fitted Wilwood kit Brake kit. The Active Handling/ ABS service light constantly appears which I have read about - could be the SS lines? However perhaps it could be the tires as the backs are now 30's and not 40's? Additionally any thoughts on how the 30's as opposed to the 40's will effect handling ?

If anyone has opinions, experience or knowledge it would be highly appreciated

Many thanks !

IMO.....the rear tires must be about 0.5" larger in diameter than the front tires or you will get codes.

research or measure the tire heights & post back.

Or run in comp mode or all nanny off.

I think that's the issue the sizes are too close. I would recommend just run comp mode or all nanny off & you'll be fine.

interesting how some have a problem with that and some don't. I run a square setup with a 2003 z06 and have no lights/codes/etc.

I ran that combo on track this year and drove to + from without codes or lights.

My car is a 2002. Maybe the newer car had a different PCM calibration??

I've run the 275/315 combo in Kumho MX's on my '03 without problems. Another local guy has that same size combo in the Azenis 615k's with no problems, his is an Z16 even.

I ran 315s all round with my Z16 car. No problem with nannies on or off.
(Did have hub issues which triggered dreaded "service traction control...ABS light but fixed with new hub)

Your problem may not be the tire sizes.

The issue I believe starts with 2005. I have a post asking same question. Because I want slicks.
