Default Moving from T1 to ST2? Lean on Pfadt for parts and NASA Cash-Back-Contingency

It was recently brought to our attention that changes in SCCA T1 rules are causing extremely competitive Corvettes to venture into new territory with NASA and the equally competitive ST2 class. We have been contacted by a number of you specifically in the California region that have been fantastic to talk to about this move. We at Pfadt have formulated a package to help you move forward into a new NASA class that is significantly less restrictive. As a result we wanted to extend this welcome to ALL of those racers out there finding themselves in this changeover. We want everyone to know that you can call Pfadt and lean on us as a resource. Count on our many years of experience and multiple Championship successes in NASA running Corvettes, our track-specific parts that are aimed at podium finishes, and our NASA Contingency Program that rewards you for racing your Corvette!

1a) Brand New ST2-Pro Suspension Package from Pfadt. Part number 1150200, $7499 (over $500 racer-savings)

Package Contents:

1110220 - Control Arm Spherical Bearing kit, Steel Frame
Just one advantage of the ST2 class is the ability to run a proper set of solid spherical control arm bearings. Our bearings are the best in the business and have become the standard of NASA racers due to the ease of installation, the durability of the units themselves, and the performance increase you get from zero deflection and almost zero friction control arm joints. Some quick features are asymmetrical upper pins for quick camber changes, bond-in anodized aluminum housings for a precise fit that doesn't require boring, pressing or welding, and it also includes the rear shock lower mounts to total 18 units in the kit. This kit saves weight overall as an added bonus. Check out the the details on our product page here:

1110246 - Feather Light Double Adjustable Coilovers
Making the move to coilovers is necessary to staying competitive and being able to optimize for a given track or track conditions quickly and efficiently. Add to that the ability to have total control over your ride height, spring rates, compression and rebound damping, all in a coilover package designed specifically for Corvettes ONLY with our unique upper and lower mounting solutions, and you have a potent set of tools to get your chassis up to speed and turning faster times than those without this advantage. Running a new aero package on your car for ST2? A quick change of coilover springs will compensate for that, in addition to valving that can handle the spring rate increase. This kit reduces your total vehicle weight as well, in addition to being inverted to minimize unsprung mass. Full details here:

1110212 - Heavy Rate Adjustable Sway Bars
The best way to control your Corvette's steady-state cornering balance is with front and rear adjustable sway bars from Pfadt. You will see even MORE weight savings with these parts, as our 3-piece design is ultra-lightweight and uses aluminum arms on splined hollow steel bars to achieve the drastic bump in roll stiffness without any weight increase. Even our endlinks are optimized for superior strength-to-weight ratios, saving weight over other "street endlink" kits on the market (including our own!). Take control of your balance buy using our adjustable endlinks to dial in body roll independently front and rear via 3 positions, chose a "half-step" for even finer resolution in your balance requirements. Extremely simple to install, impossible to find anything better for track use. Take a look at the roll-stiffness relative values below and you can see this is the ultimate set of competition sway bars. Full details here:

2) NASA Contingency Program for 2013.

For the past 4 years Pfadt has been giving back to racers via our NASA Contingency Program, and we couldn't be any happier with your results! We gave away almost $3000 in the last 12 months alone to people taking advantage of this program that rewards you for doing what you do best: competing against other Corvettes! We have almost $2000 stored up amongst current participants just waiting to be cashed in on (you know who you are!). Now that you are running in ST2, this Contingency Program will take care of you when you need to get some upgrades to your Corvettes, whether it be a new Camber Kit to adjust your camber quickly and accurately in-between sessions, or heavy duty SKF race wheel bearings to lower your maintenance intervals on your hubs. This cash-back program is our way of saying "thank you for the support" each and every year for running our parts and our decals, and getting out there and proving how well our parts work. Here is a quick overview of the program:

-$75 "Race Team" purchase
-gives you an IMMEDIATE $50 credit on file
-Pfadt T-shirt (specify size)
-Pfadt 30" Banner decals for front and rear windscreens
-Pfadt 16" decals for fender arches or bumper, hood placement etc.

You earn:
-$100 for every 1st place victory against 4 other Corvettes in class
-$50 for every 2nd place podium against 4 other Corvettes in class
-$25 for every 3rd place podium against 4 other Corvettes in class

-$50 for every 1st place podium against 3 other Corvettes in class

Thank you for supporting grassroots racing.

I don't have a vette race car (yet?), but this makes me likely to pick Pfadt when I'm faced with a choice
