Anybody raced there? I attended one last summer and it looks like a lot of fun. What do I need to do to get started? Is there a class? I have a Simpson helmet from 2004, is that still good? Thanks.

I missed most of last year . But try Midwestern Council . They will be there five or so times . The schedule should be out by now .

That was exactly how I got started in all this back in 92! I had some of my greatest times with MC. I miss them and Blackhawk quite a bit. They should be having their indoor school in March and that is where you should start. If you need any help pm me.

Midwest council is best way to start. Great program and great people. Took my new GS there last year as a novice and am now hooked. Looking forward to next season.

They have an ax school at the beginning of the year.

Autobahn is about 40 minutes away from me. I do track days though, no high speed autocross or time attack yet.

I started with Midwest Counsel last year well. Love it and Blackhawk is their home track. You can bet as long as buying a house doesn't send break my bank you'll see me out there.
