Default Road Racing - what pads run guys using?

I have plenty of experience using dtc70s and pfc01 on a 400hp turbo miata race car, but wonder what front compounds are common for z06 racers. Mines running slicks and aero, and I have 6 piston AP racing calipers. I was considering pagid rs15s or even rs29s. The longest races I do are 1 hour but at places like Philip island and Mt Panorama there are some very big stops. Happy to take messages if no one wants to give away their secrets too! Thank Chris

Carbotech (www.ctbrakes.com) pads on every car I've track for about 8 years now. Work great and are VERY easy on rotors.

Same compounds here, with some other additions (Raybestos, Carbotech, Ferodo).
I don't know of anyone using Pagids, are they popular there?

Pagids are excellent pads..pricey but great. Popular with p-cars and other German engineered means of locomotion.

Carbotech XP12s, XP16s, XP20s... depends on the track and what I have on hand. XP12s are my fallback.

400hp in a turbo Miata with aero and slicks.. damn that must be fun

I have AP brakes and now use Ferodo pads and Very happy with the results. DS1.11 for the front and CP2500 for the rears.

Thanks guys, some great responses there. Pagid seem to be very popular with GT3 porkers and GT spec cars in Europe and in Australia. Project Mu are also getting a strong following down here too especially in V8 Supercars. I was going to start with DTC70s all round and then go from there. My MX5(miata) used XP12 carbos on the rear with a DTC70 front and it never had issues stopping! The extra speed and weight of the Z06 makes me thinnk I will need something stronger.

Here's some incar from Mt Panorama in the wet - I am hoping to pedal the vette the same way!
