and yes, that's a mid-mounted LS motor

I recently sold my '92 sawblades to a gentleman who is involved with auto-xing his modified vehicle. He told me, but I forgot the engine type and horsepower (if anyone is interested in knowing, I will get the info). The suspension is C5 Corvette. He is now aware that the wheels are rotating incorrectly.

The purchaser is 63, lives here in Santa Cruz. He runs large size tires on the rears, requiring a modification that he has developed.

This is the vehicle, and the following link will take you through his modification process. I think you will find it an interesting read.

Actually in autocross the problem is getting the brakes to heat up. He might have found a solution.

That clearly falls into the "just because you can, doesn't mean you should" category.

And it's no surprise he has the wheels on the wrong sides of the car.

Since you have never had a ride in the car, I'm not surprised you don't "get it"

Street driven daily driver, full interior, 0-60 2.8 sec, 1.4 G's lateral acceleration.

I built it back in the 1980's when it was all C4 and was a Oct '86 Hot Rod Mag feature car.

Oh, believe it or not the wheels can be installed on either side of the car!!!

Sometimes they are like the pic, sometimes they are in stock position, not really a concern performance-wise, If you are losing sleep over it, I can put them back in the stock position.

any pics of the interior now? From that current pic, I'm having a hard timing picturing the seat in there with the motor.

Waynger, on behalf of the Corvette Forum, please ignore the above comments, as they do not represent the attitude of CF members. Some individuals just need to think before they write.

For the record, this car was not posted on CF by the owner. It was copied from another forum by a CF member, and posted on CF as a compliment to the owner. Not as a target for ridicule.

I posted it here, because I love to go for a ride

People over in Off Topics seem to like it as well.

Thanks! If your ever in Northern California, a ride is yours. Run at Marina (airfield), CA usually at least once a month

OR:

A slow street ride.

I love the fabrication work, I wish I had the skill.
My '69 will never look that good.
The headers are a work of art.

Thanks for the kind words. Skill is acquired, keep working at it, I do.

Heres a pic of the rear end and headers while still on the welding table

Killer car!

I run at Marina occasionally (usually with AAS) and should be back down there this summer. Hope to see this beast!
