Default C5 Z06 at Arroyo Seco Raceway, NM

First time taking the Z06 to the track and loved the experience. Stock engine, stock brakes (along with DOT3 fluid) and Continental DW street tires.

But of course it wasn't all smooth sailing. I cropped some of the not so smooth moments and compiled them for your viewing pleasure.

Planning to go back soon with better hardware and hopefully better tires and proper alignment. I'm hooked!

Looks like my old Z06. Did I race with you once in the Pan Am SCCA AutoX back in 09 or so?

I wasn't in EP back then. I did attend their last season event in November. When I got there Kevin Hill was telling me how someone that had a blue C5 Z06 had just left the area.

Loved the stadium parking lot, lots of room to get creative with the course design. Here's one of my runs from November.

That track looks amazing! I'll definitely make plans to start traveling east if budget allows. The good thing about ASR is that I paid $80 for the entire day, has to be the cheapest track in the US.

A couple more videos. This time with Nitto NT05s and upgraded brake pads/fluid. Didn't get much quicker, but at least now I could be consistant lap after lap.

Electron blue is the fastest color...

You are close to the best track in NM and the open road events in Big Bend.
