Rain tires for C6 Z (track)
Looking at Hoozier's list of rains they now have a few more options.
Staying with the stock rims....
Looks like the 335/30/19 @ 27" tire hight and the 275/35/18 @ 25.2"
Do you think the 1.8" front to rear spread would mess with the AH system
Stock is more like 1.2"
What's your thought on this? Is it a useable set-up?

It won't do anything to the AH but it could activate Drag Control when you lift your foot off the throttle.

Hoosier manufactures stock sizes, too, right? Since it would be meant for driving on wet, wouldn't wider-than-stock tires hinder performance anyway?

see link for Hoosier wets and you will see what I'm talking about..... http://www.hoosiertire.com/rrtire.htm click on specs under road racing tires and scroll to the botom of the page to see DOT wet tires.

Honestly Gary I would just recommend skipping the whole racing in the rain thing, your car looks really good - keep it that way! Nothing good ever happens in the rain.
If you really are concerned with keeping it stock get a set of street tires with a good thread pattern.

We actually ran 275/18's on C5Z rears with spacers - the H20 wet is a great rain tire - but it's still a rain tire.
We also ran with AH/TC off.
On Geff's car we run 305's all around.
You could run 305 F and 325 R, that would get you closer to stock F to R bias, but then you are running some pretty wide rain tires.

I just used the street tires. I have been lucky in my 100+ days, only a couple were a total wash out. I either just packed up or waited until the rain stopped.
