The bolts are likely for the windage tray.

Check Canton's sit see if you can see anything like yours.

May answer the question?

I posted this on the other thread, the bolts seem to be mandatory to cut off with a canton pan, the person I bought the pan from must have sent me the cut off stock bolts and you dont use the stock baffle. Hopefully got it figured out, now just got to get the pan and gasket on it without crimping the gasket. Been trying for two hours.
