What size tires to buy?
Due to the stock wheels being so light weight, I have purchased and extra set of Speedlines. No one sells the stock sizes in racing tires. What sizes do you guys run and where are you buying from? I prefer to find some scrubbed used tires for a discount.

Road race guys usually run 315/30/18 on all four corners. That's what I will be running on my Speedlines.

Really? Are there any rubbing issues up front? I am assuming that is on a full set of 10.5" rears too? I bought a pair of 17x9.5" for the front so I am sure that there would be too much roll/bulge for 315's on those rims.

OP - autocross or track day usage? ltborg's suggestion is for autocrossing. While some folks use the 315/17 and 335/18 option for autocrossing, others use 295/17s up front and 315/18s out back. That's on stock size wheels (as mandated by the SCCA solo/autocross rules), although you can use spacers up to 1/4" per the rules.
Track days will be different.

For track days and the stock wheels (17" front and 18" rear) I like 315 all the way around. That does remove the tendancy for the car to understeer so it is more lively (read more likely to spin). The car is definitely faster this way.
The 315 in front will rub a little a full lock, but that isn't a problem on track.
If you get two more 18" wheels, then you can use 315/18" on all four and rotate tires which in nice to get the most out of them.

Running 285/35-18 Nitto 555 RII's on 10.5 X 18 all four corners, track days. Car is very well balanced and I get zero rubbing. T1 bars, track alignment.

Very interested in hearing more about this. I just got the car last year and it came with an extra set of stock Z06 rims with Kuhmo's on them. The Kuhmo's are 275/17 up front and 315/18 in back. I think the car was used more for track when they were purchased. I'm moving to Hoosiers this year, and if I can fit 315/335 on stock rims without rubbing or performance sacrifice, that would be excellent. Any help or links you can provide would be much appreciated.
