Saturday was a practice day. Made no changes to the car, just drove around the track like usual. Putting back the passenger seat has been a big hit for me and the passengers. The excitement and comments are priceless. 1st. overall out of 90 cars.


Sunday I raced the SS Corvette. We had a lot of competition. That made me nervous, but I just stuck to the normal game plan. Don't get excited, and keep a positive attitude until it's all over. It worked. 1st. in class. 2nd. in PAX.

I probably should get a new helmet though, since I cracked my head several times during your slaloms, lol.
1,000 hp sounds about right, cause my car felt slow off the line afterwards the rest of the day...

Gratz on the SS win Sunday.

Here is my best from Saturday practice. I'm only about 9 secs off your pace, so watch out once I get a huge wing on my car too!

Thanks. Sunday was a lot of fun. The SS guys and gals threaten to cut my hair after the race. They figured God was giving me supernatural powers. Of course God does, but cutting my hair wouldn't have made a difference.
Your run looks great. I think you should put some race tires on and see what you can do. I turned a 85.2 in Hodges car with street tires. I think you were too. Nice run.

We have a DL1 in the SS Corvette. I let Hodges figure it all out. He tells me where I was slow. Sometimes it helps.

You're right about not making a difference, closer reading shows that cutting your hair would not deplete you of your powers. Hair must be shaven off completely.
Even then, strength would return as soon as hair on your head begins to grow again.
Hair or no hair, you're the Samson of SS, keep it up.
Do you get a champion jacket at the end of season like the Porsche club one you have?

I was just wondering where and how you mounted your camera. I have a Contour camera with some mounts and would like to know the best place to put it.

The camera for the track view is mounted just below the rear view mirror on the windshield. The other camera is mounted on the upper right side on the windshield. I use these mounts.

3 suction mount. The track view mount I use a longer arm. About 3". Ask them about it.
