Hawk Blue 9012 pads

Were is the rolling on the floor smile.
Hawk Blues are a very agressive pad.
You will wind up with a TON of brake dusk and iron filings from the disc.
If it gets wet - CONCRETE with rust imbedded
I ran them on a v6 rustang and was replacing rotors everytime I replaced the pads
Again they'll stop you, but you have to keep things clean or you'll have horrid looking wheels. And one little sprinkle and bam - can't get it off.
I love the Carbotech line of pads - rotor friendly, stop you and not too bad to clean up.

I used them on my 97 about 12 years ago. Very aggressive pad. Drove the car on the street for about 20 miles and when I got home the wheels were covered with rotor dust. The pads do a great job of resurfacing the rotors when they are cold. They will stop you with a light touch on the brake pedal.

The hawk blues are awaiting pick up for me @ Summit racing, but I think I am changing my mind about using them.
The pads are actually for the Shelby I plan on running the car at a lapping day @ Mosport next month and was going to be for the rear of the car.
C-Adam, I actually contacted you guys and as of this moment a brand spanking new set of front XP12 pads are coming to me from your company (new application for this car). You guys had to make them from the factory pad that I sent for the backing plate template. I plan on calling tomorrow to see about a set of XP10 rear pads for the GT500 (was recommended to run the 12's front and 10's rear as per discussion with personell at Carbotech).
I will be running the factory G/year supercar G2 tires which is a R compound tire.

Won't be running the 9012 pads, replaced with Carbo XP8 for the rear of the Shelby to go with the XP12's that I'll see later today at home in my mailbox.
(changed from the 10 to the 8 after another discussion with Carbotech personnel)
