How does TT3 compare to old PTA/TTA times?

How does TT3 compare to old PTA/TTA times?
General consensus seemed to be that TT3 would be faster than the old PTA/TTA class because of the unlimited mod factor, despite bumping the power/weight from 8.7 to 9.0 lb/hp.
Now that there's been enough time for some events under the new rules, what are you guys seeing? If you had to guess, how much faster/slower do you think TT3 is running on a 2 min lap?

Through 2 events TT3 laps have been 2.2 (Autobahn) and 1.9 (Putnam) seconds faster than the previous TTA lap records, now that is Jim McKamey's wild ST3/TT3 car but it shows you what a top shelf TT3 car is capable of.
BTW the TTA lap records were set by some pretty good shoes too.
We will be at Gingerman this weekend so we will see what kind of times he runs there but I'm figuring around another 2 second drop.
Both of those tracks were in the 2 mile range.

There were very few PTA/TTA cars that were 8.7:1 flat across the usable rpm range. You couldn't do enough mods on the car to make enough power to do that. The end result is (was) an AVERAGE power to weight across it's usable rpm range that was > 9:1. It might have peaked at 8.7:1 for a few hundred rpm but below and above that, it was much lower.
Any competitive TT3 car is going to be at 9:1 ALL the time

My car is 2.0 sec faster at Rd Atl than it's prior TTA setup, but I'm still struggling to find the right setup with all the new gadgets.
But.... that's only .2sec faster than the old TTA track record.
