Default ZR1 magnetic suspension and track aero

So, I'm sitting on the fence regarding race aero and Kyle at Texas Track Works mentioned I may have an issue with the race aero compromising my stock ZR1 suspension. That certainly makes sense, but man, I'm having difficulty thinking about giving up what is otherwise a solid suspension set-up, plus any integration issues with launch mode, PTM, etc. when I cut out part of the system. I had TTW install poly bushings, a camber kit, and they dialed in my alignment which was awesome at a recent track event. Totally woke the car up. They did an great job.

So, to go to the next level with NASA, etc. I will very likely need aero. Has anyone run race aero with stock magnetic suspension with the Z06 and/or ZR1?

For that matter, could I pay a GM suspension engineer to give me a program to load to my car that turns the magnetic sport suspension mode into a fire breathing corner carving monster with race aero? Does the magnetic suspension even have that capability?

This is the time I wish us normal DE/time trial guys had a little more factory support. Anyone? Bueller?

Hey Anthony, are you serious? You guys didn't mod the suspension on your race ZR1?

Changed control arm bushings, bigger sway bars....ran the hill one year on stock spindles, ran it on drops the next year.

Still had the stock springs and shocks on it.

Very interesting info. Thanks! Your race wing and splitter are still in the running for future mods. Thanks again, Anthony.
