Default Any way to quite this down?

Did some lapping at Pacific Raceways in Washington today with the new to me Raybestos ST43's. I gotta say they gave me a lot of confidence and felt great. But man are they are noisy...I thought they would quite down once I got some heat in them, but I got black flagged to do a brake check. Noisy all day long and didn't hear anybody else's brakes squeaking.
Is there any way to quite these down...do I need some kind of backing plate/shim like the stocks one have cause I didn't transfer them to the track pads? Please help me from having to buy new pads. Thanks!!
