BBK tool question
What tool do you use to spread the pads on BBKs? On my stock brakes I used a big C clamp and a screw type compression tool. However, with my new Stoptech brakes these methods won't work. I have seen people using tols to spread all six pistons simultaneously but I don't know where to pick one up...
Thanks for the help,
Charley

Burning Brakes
I found success and recycled an old drum brake adjustment tool like this that was in my toolbox:
That an one of the worn out brake pads and I'm able to compress the pistons fully on the inside and outside of my old Wilwood SL6 and my Stoptech ST60 calipers.

Here is a tool that I found that works like a champ ! Just slide tool in the caliper and turn the handle. It expands and pushes the pistons back on both sides at once. A bit pricey at $45 but it works and easily !

Looks like this would work for 4-pot calipers a bit more quickly, but perhaps with less ultimate force than what CHJ suggested:

I just did it with a couple of c clamps and. Small pieces of wood to protect the caliper. I want something easier myself. I might make sized just for my Wilwoods. If I need to change at the track that's not the quickest method.
