-RELEASE- LG Motorsports Track Box TPMS Eliminator kit
-RELEASE-
This is what you have been waiting for, a complete Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor Eliminator kit for your C6 Corvette.
Remove one more hassle from your Track Day enjoyment!!
This handy device will allow you to plug into the body control module of your Corvette and completely remove the tire pressure monitoring system with no ill effects to the car. Great for road racers and drag racers that have been plagued by tire pressure sensor issues for years. No more will you have to face those dreaded error messages or bothered by the computer when you install your track wheels and tires.
Always forgetting to turn your Traction Control off before a run? Another cool feature is that this will also allow you to start the car with Active Handling and Traction Control completely turned OFF so you don't have to reach down and hit the button if you happen to kill the car before a run. Your TC button does still work so you can turn those systems back on even with the box plugged in and running.
Kit comes complete with box, wiring harness, and instructions.
Currently fits 2005-2008 Corvettes
MSRP $399.95

This is VERY NICE !!!!!!
Couple of questions:
1. The DIC no longer provides the tire pressure, correct?
2. How long is the install
This is a lot less than a new set of TPSM and a reprogrammer

2. Should only take 20 mins or so to do. You will have to tie into a few wires in the passenger side floor of the car beside the BCM. The box will fit under the floor/dash on the passenger side.

Your Traction Control button still works just like it always has, just that the car now starts with everything turned off in default mode. Your TC button will then scroll through your TC settings like normal --> Everything off (default start up) --> everything on --> TC off ---> Comp Mode --- > Everything off again.

1. Correct.....if you remove it then everything goes right back to normal and the car will remember your last set of sensors.

I had a sensor fail intermittently this spring at VIR and it would have the service tire monitor light come on and then the TCS would keep hitting the brakes while I tried to turn, not much fun and extremely dangerous at speed. The tire pressure was fine, the sensor was the issue. I would then reset it between sessions and it would be good for a few laps. Finally gave up and swapped from my Hoosier set to the Pilot Sport Cup set.
It's one thing to have a monitoring system, quite another to have it linked to the TCS, especially when the TCS slams the brakes mid turn causing you to understeer across the racing line. I look at my pressures while driving at the track, that's the advantage of TPMS. Does the LG Motorsports product work on 2011 models? Did the 2005-2008 models have the TPMS tied to the TCS like mine?

I should be testing it in the 2009-current cars this week to double check but yes it should work.
All of the cars varied but for the most part, if it looses contact with a set of sensors in the car it will go into 'flat tire mode' and yes turn on AH and TC. Some of the cars if they go long enough with no signal from a TPMS can run with everything off but not in Comp mode....
This is the only way to keep all of your TC settings, and not have the tire pressure sensors to worry about.

Would this work on an early gen c5 car? Any plans to make one if not? I have a c5 race car, and still have to remember to hit the traction off button before I leave the pits. Jerry

Yes please let us know! I had Andy Pilgrim in the car at Track Attack to take a couple of laps before he flew home. He went pit out and got half way around the first corner and the nannies went nuts! The car had been sitting for a few hours so the tires cooled off and air pressure dropped below the min for traction control/limp mode to kick in. Needless to say it was quite embarrassing making the guy putt around the entire track for a lap doing about 30mph lol.

Final production units are on the way, and we have simplified the install so there is only a single plug now instead of two.
