Default Best Bore and Stroke for Road Racing

I was wondering what road racing folks are using for their bore and stroke? I have a C6 z06 and thinking about changing out the bottom end to get some more power. Should I go big 4.185x4.00 stroke or just stay with the 427ish 4.125x4.00 stroke I have now?

Thanks,

Sean

In what class? unlimited?

What rpm range?

Anyone can give an opinion, but your best bet would be seeking advice from LS engine builders that have a strong history in development, testing and competing in professional series.

Katech, Lingenfelter, Hutter etc.

It would be the unlimited class. Rpm range guess I don't know. Currently I have the stock redline set for my c6 z06 and try to shift around 6700.

Good advice though about calling the builders I will try that but hope others have some personal experiences to share too!

Thanks
