ZR1 rotors
Just got a 2011 Z06 Carbon Edition which has the ZR1 ceramic rotors. Any thing special I need to do with the rotors if I want to autocross the car?

Burning Brakes
You should burnish the brakes to get the maximum performance from them. The procedure is in your owners manual and there is a sticky in the ZR1 section that covers the process pretty well. You should do it even if you don't track the car.

I was looking at one in LA to buy. If I had I would probably replace the pads/rotors with equipment that is easier on the wallet to renew. Put the stockers back on to sell it.
If you are only going to autox it 3 or 4 times a year then They'll probably last a long time, but if you are going to be serious & maybe track it then research the cost of replacement & frequency.
Go to the c6zr1 forum & see if anyone tracks theirs.
