Default Are C5 and C6 front suspension identical?

I need to replace the control arm bushings on the C6. This is a street car so I don't need sphericals, delrin, poly, etc. Can I take the stock front suspension off of the C5 (control arms, knuckles, bearings and all) and directly bolt it to the C6?

If so, then I can replace the control arms that were originally on the C6 with race bushings and put them on the C5 track car.

I know the rear is not interchangeable, but is the front?

Not completely sure about the control arms, but I have C6 knuckles on the front of my C5 with no issue at all. Bearings, etc swapped right over.

I'm fairly certain they're close enough that you'd never notice the difference. The bushings may be a little softer/ harder, but that's probably it.

Good, If that's all then I don't care, I'm replacing them, anyway. Just confirming the geometry.

Thanks for the replies!

Depending on the year of C6 the knuckles have stronger mounting bosses for the brake caliper but if it's a street car it won't matter.
They did it for the ZR1 because they were having issues with pad taper. The ZR1 uses the same knuckle as all the other C6's.

It's on old C6; no such luck. However, ironically, upon inspection last night it turns out my C5 bushings have also pushed out of the upper arm so there is nothing to be gained by my master plan.

Sigh...

... and this is why I put them on my C5 (with the beefy AP brakes).

Is there a volume discount on poly bushings? Buy 2 sets, get one free?

Please pardon the brief hijack, but what are the rear differences between the C5 and C6?

Thanks.

Not a hijack. The length of the rear A arms is different on the two vehicles. I think the C6 is actually shorter even though the overal track is wider. I will have to take a measurement to verify.

I thought the C6 has a shorter wheelbase, and that's attributed to the difference in rear lower arm design? I can't remember for sure...
