Which autocross class?
Hey guys, I'm curious as to what autocross class my car would be in for the SCCA.
Car:2003 Z06
-Heads
-Cam
-Intake
-Stock brakes
-Street tires
-Stock suspension
Thanks,
Will

In other words, you're going to get your *** whooped with that car in that class. You've got very light modifications compared to what's allowed in that class.
EDIT: Check out these links, they should help you out some

Your class should be SSM, Super Street Modified. But you could run Novice if you are just starting out. The Heads and Cam bump you up. And typically, once you get some experience, you will want to run race compound, DOT Slicks such as Hoosier A6's.

Thanks for the info guys. I just ran practice sessions today with the college car club, my first autocross event. I'll be in the novice class for the actual competition tomorrow. They use the same class categories as SCCA, so I was wondering where to put my car in the future.
