Is this tire OK to use?

Two weekends ago, I won Time Trials with a 2:10 at VIR Full on four 275 R6s that looked worse than that. Ran the first lap hard, backed off the second lap, ran the third lap hard, and on the fourth lap I drifted T1-T4 so much that I left smoke.
The "ok to use" threshold depends on your individual budget.

We used to run test sessions on older steel belted tires like BFG's and Goodyears and run them to where they had cords showing all the way around for a one inch stripe... After sitting for a day or so the tire would deform and be totally unusable, but you could run them till you got thru the top layer of steel belt and they were still fast...
Hoosiers aren't that robust. If you are on a real road course (and not an autocross) with a corded Hoosier you are only good for a few laps and after that you are going to lose the tire... I've generally run them past where the OP is, but if you can see a stripe all the way around you need to be parking them.
I wouldn't start a 20 minute session with that tire, it's not likely to make it.

You won't get more than 2 or 3 autocross runs with this, and it won't get you your best time. Good to practice with. If it's the rear tire, time to play with the rear end a bit and do an agressive autocross run. (safely...)

Took a picture of said tires. You people thought I was joking, didn't you? I refuse to take a tire off the car until I can hear metal.

Ok ... I hear ya and respect your decision to continue to run corded tires to stay in budget but ya have to know that tire is at much greater risk for failure or at least very unpredictable handling . If I cord, my day is over and I am done until i can spot the 400 for 4 more scrubs. The class I run in has no purse ... no trophy ... no nothing so not worth the risk for me ....

No. I you are really in tune with your car, you can feel from the driver's seat at speed which tire has corded and whether inside or outside. You can then adjust your driving style to protect the tire.
Corded front inside? Lighten up on the braking and trail brake more to we the outside of the tire. Etc etc etc.
