Steering moan/groan solved - video
These are QA1 Endura rod ends, 3 years service. They were quiet for 2.5 years so I am not complaining at all.
Just give them a spray every so often. They still hold an alignment so I'll leave them on for a while more.
The GM lube is ptfe based & the rod ends are ptfe/nylon so pretty compatible.
