Default C6 z06 Dry sump oil tank options

I have 2006 z06 with the stock dry sump tank. Should i upgrade?

If so any suggestions on tank manufacturers that make one that will fit in my car?

Thanks,

Sean

Not necessarily. What kind of tracks will you be driving on? If you have no long high G left hand turns the stock 8 qt dry sump should be enough. From there you can go up to the Lingenfelter modded tank or an 09 or above tank. I run mostly Watkins Glen which doesn't have any long high G turns and I and plenty of others have no problems with the 8 qt tanks.

As Bill says, it depends on the tracks. If you're not sure and want some level of additional protection -- I went to the larger Lingenfelter tank with Aviaid baffle.

2nd Lingenfelter. Cheap insurance. The baffles and extra's are nice, but the extra capacity alone should do the trick.

Sorry for taking this OT, but will this suffice for HPDE's and other non professional road racing ventures?
