What the heck....A couple 7/10s laps at Willow Springs:

• Got solo'd, and suggested to move up a run group next event
• Lower Avg Lap time by 3 seconds
• Lowered Best time by 1.5 seconds to 2:20
• Top speed on straights still around 145
• Daily driven car, so I'm very conservative in the braking zones

I highly recommend getting an external mic and mounting it in a no wind area. It just makes the videos so much more pleasant to watch.

The wind noise drives me nuts. Not my Vette but I put the microphone in the engine bay so you get some good induction noise.

Can i sneak in a Miata video? Haha. If it helps there's a z06 in front of me. Actually not my best lap times, I think I let the tire pressure get too high; kept getting greasy. Oh well, still fun.

Hopefully I'll have an actual corvette video to share in Nov.

i have a ls1 miata, and they where having problems making the xp-5 run right. so they asked me to drive looking for suggestions. first thing i said was mirrors. i had no idea who was behind me. you can see in the video that i slowed after turn 7. i wanted to let anyone that was behind me pass, and i had no clue if anyone was there. even with me crawling on to 7 i matched my best time at RA. that car is stupid fast.

First event with the Corvette. Nov 2015 - TrackDaze at VIR - Grand Course. Still learning the car so no record breaking lap times but it feels good. Zero problems with the car. Please forgive the painfully slow section from the bridge to oak tree. I was watching my oil temps and backed off. But by oak tree I decided that wasn't much fun and picked it up again haha.


*Some have told me the video plays at 2x speed for them. I apologize if it does that, no idea why. typically plays at normal speed for me.
