Default hoosiers and stock calipers

Hi
Thinking of moving to scrubs from nitto nt-01s on my dedicated track car c5 z06.notvracing just track days. The track is hard on tires but not brakes.
My question is : will stock calipers a good stock size rotor( eg dba4000) and Carbotech xp12s be enough brake for slicks / hoosiers18"square?
Thanks in advance

The xp12 is borderline. If you are hard on brakes and us A6's or slicks, then you may get better life out of xp16 or 20. Either way you wont fade them, just wear them out more.

Go deep!

12 will be ok but you could go up to a 20 or 24 in the front for better wear and more bite. I will be happy to help you, I can be reached direct at 216-780-8825.

I disagree. I ran XP12f/XP10r for YEARS on stock calipers, DBA 2-pc rotors, and 275 Hoosier A6s on 18" Z06 wheels (square). A LOT of us ran that combo with zero issues. Time Trial, W2W, and HPDE.
