Default Anyone racing on LG G2 short-body coilovers?

I didn't realize LG offered a longer body shock for their G2s for those who want to stay closer to OEM ride height or to be used with drop spindles. The short body units require the car to be at least 1" lower than stock. This ends up pretty low in my opinion, but I'm used to a PTA/TTA car that looks like a moonshiner.

Anyone racing on these with the car low?

I did until I bought a used set of motons. They work great!

I'm running them but had to dial in some preload to avoid bottoming out the rear shocks. I think I ended up with 3/8 inch preload in the rear with an additional 1/2 inch spacer on the upper mount to gain ride height. The front has less preload and a smaller spacer. The ride height ended up a little lower than my old PTA setup. Also I increased spring rates to 800/700 from the original 700/600 without revalving.

Overall I like them, car feels stable and is more responsive. It doesn't do anything weird and is still easy to drive. My only comparison is against 04Z shocks/springs.

I did the same thing with spacers. And I also tried 800/700 springs w/out re-valving but found that the shocks couldn't handle the springs in bumpy sections. We have some bumpy tracks in CA and I had to go back to the original springs.

Have any pics of your car sitting in the paddock at current height with spacers?
