Default serious window fog.... how do you deal with it at the track?

Without any ac system or defogger how do you guys handle it or prevent it? I tried the rainx window fog treatment and it did basically nothing. The day in question was actually not on the track. I was driving to see if my dad would fit into the racing seat I just mounted and it was about 48 degrees ouside and steady pouring rain. My windshielf got so bad and I couldn't reach it to even wipe it off since 6 pt harness has no stretch.

Its very rare I drive on the road but if this were a track day it would be ruined!

Several have mounted the little trucker fans to help. It is a serious problem in an old C5 race car I used to run. I was about to unstrap to wipe windshield in the race when I came to my senses and pitted.

I remember playing paintball as a kid and having a spray that we put on our masks that worked really well, but has anyone tried this on a large scale? My rx7 did some serious fogging last summer during a downpour and I feel I would have had 2nd place had I had a clear windshield at the end....

I had no luck with anything for the OEM glass.
Maybe try a film, like this - http://antifogsystems.com/online-store/ (I have no idea how well it works).
For lexan, the above might work, or a spray (again, no idea how well they work) - http://www.zooke.com/ or http://www.blazeantifog.com/faq
The poly cleaner from Five Star Racing also says "Anti-Fog" on it.

Get a bilge pump for a boat. They push a lot of air. Mount it on the right side of the dash blowing towards the driver's side. You could also mount it lower on the passenger side and run some flex duct. Seems like mine cost $30-40.

Lol. I might as well mount windshield wipers on the inside!

This is what we use.
Another old racers trick is to wipe the inside of the windshield with Barbosol shaving cream. I haven't had the opportunity to try it since I learned about it but it is supposed to be the only thing besides wiping the window that really works.

Ive gotten ripped on for make shift stuff on this forum so many times, but I think carrying around a cloth on the end of a stick has got to be the most redneck thing I've ever seen. Effective but wow is that "Kustom"

My daily driver Volkswagen does this, and it infuriates me so bad that I wish to kick the window out while driving. I think my issue is because my ac doesn't work, and I'm running an open downpipe which soots up the whole windshield when I have defrost on. I use Stoner Glass Cleaner to get the window SUPER clean (2-stage micro fiber process) and then carry a microfiber towel with me at all times incase it fogs while on the go. When I stop at my destination, I use the fog+microfiber combo as a cleaning agent and clean the soot off my window. Usually that works good.

When I get my stock car project off the ground or rather ON the ground I plan to try one of these things mounted in the dash somehow.

^I had considered doing the same thing, but have heard terrible reviews on every single little dash unit I've looked into

Have not tried this my self but could install an after market rear window type defroster on the front windshield.

Then get a shop vac wide floor attachment, turn it so it points up at the windshield in front of you and hook the hose up to it. Put the bilge pump as high as you can get so it gets the hottest air possible.
