Swapping out my water pump for a higher flow model...and the neck on the pump is 1 3/4" compared to the 1 1/2" of the stock one. Also, the OEM is pinched down in the middle and expanded on the ends. I want one that is 1 3/4" all the way through.

Just wondering if any of the C4 racers had done this and had a part # for it...I'm taking the old hose to NAPA tomorrow and just going to start looking until I find one, but some direction from someone who has already done it would help.

I tried to match something up at the local auto parts store also. Wasted a few days then finally bought this:

Looks nice...I'm assuming it is 1 3/4" ID? It doesn't say on the web site...

If I can't find one at the parts house...I'll give Jegs a call on Monday.

I found one at NAPA today!

It is part #7927...I think she said it was a Ford lower hose. It works perfectly...all I had to do was cut 2" from the top (at the water pump) and installed a 16" internal spring from another 1 3/4" ID hose and it looks like an OEM part.
